Fever with interferon is usually normal. Interferon is mainly used for malignant tumors (myeloma, bladder cancer, etc.), viral skin diseases (warts, herpes simplex, etc.), certain inflammatory skin diseases (keloids, scleroderma, etc.) and other diseases. Chills, fever and malaise can occur after interferon injection, and the fever usually stops after 7 days with the prolongation of the course of treatment. Therefore, fever with interferon injection is normal. Interferon needs to be contraindicated for those who are allergic to interferon, those with hepatic and renal insufficiency, those with cardiac insufficiency, and those with bone marrow suppression. In some patients, after interferon injection, erythema may appear at the injection site, accompanied by pressure and pain, which can usually subside after 24 hours. If patients need to inject interferon, they should consult a professional doctor before injection and use it under the doctor’s guidance to avoid adverse effects.
