Cervical spondylosis: 1, cervical spine X-ray film in the front and side position, hyperextension and hyperflexion, cervical spine MRI film, for patients who are to be operated should have cervical spine CT scan (three-dimensional reconstruction results); 2, considering radiculopathy of cervical spondylosis, there should be upper extremity electromyography for those who have the condition. For patients suspected of having motor neuron disease in crural cervical spondylosis, they should have electromyography of three limbs. Lumbar spine disease: X-ray of lumbar spine in front and side position, hyperextension and hyperflexion, lumbar spine MRI, CT scan result, and those who are going to have lumbar spine surgery should have lumbar spine CT result of three-dimensional reconstruction, and those who are going to have lumbar spine slippage should also have lumbar spine bi-oblique X-ray. The proposed surgery requires electromyography of the lower limbs, and for the older patients, it would be better to have bone density test of vertebral body in crural spine. Bone density test for vertebral osteoporotic fracture: 1. Thoracolumbar spine frontal and lateral X-rays, MRI scan of the diseased segment of the crus (after the onset of the disease); 2. Bone density test results (recent).
