Surgical treatment of giant auricular keloids

Auricular scarring can grow relatively large and is mainly seen in long periods of untreated auricular scarring. The relative risk of initial treatment is low, mainly because the anatomical deconstruction is relatively clear, the integrity of the auricular cartilage is preserved, and undestructive excision is not performed.

In cases just after removal of the stitches, the remaining course requires prevention of recurrence through various comprehensive measures.
