Gynostemma has the effects of clearing heat and removing toxins (removing heat and toxins from the body), relieving cough and resolving phlegm, and benefiting qi and strengthening the spleen (regulating the qi of spleen and stomach). It is mainly used for the treatment of loss of appetite and cough caused by deficiency of spleen and stomach qi. The contraindications of Gynostemma are not clear. Lycium barbarum is a yin tonic, flat in nature, sweet in taste, and belongs to the liver and kidney meridians. Wolfberry has the effect of nourishing the liver and kidney, benefiting the essence and brightening the eyes (tonifying the essence and promoting the recovery of eyesight). It can be used to treat lumbar and knee pain, deficiency of essence, dizziness, tinnitus, and dimming of eyesight. Note that this product should be taken with caution by people with spleen deficiency and diarrhea (diarrhea caused by weak spleen function).
