Total spitting mucus is a manifestation of lung cancer. In advanced stage lung cancer, lung function is obviously reduced, coughing sputum is weak, and after various antibiotics and other medications, secondary secondary infection, that is, fungal infection, is likely to occur. Fungal infection mainly takes mycelium as the main manifestation, coughing sputum is not pleasant, and more mucus filaments in sputum are not easy to cough out, instead, when coughing hard, it will lead to difficulty in breathing, inducing blood in sputum, chest pain, chest tightness and shortness of breath, which brings great pain to patients. If there is blood in sputum, it is more important to be alert to the possibility of lung adenocarcinoma. Alveolar cancer and lung adenocarcinoma both have large amount of sputum filaments as the main manifestation, mostly white in color. To confirm the diagnosis, high-resolution CT and enhanced CT of the chest, fiberoptic bronchoscopy and sputum culture can also be performed to clarify whether the sputum mucus filaments are fungal infections and antifungal medication can be given.
