After hypothyroidism, the heart hurts a few times a day. Consider the possibility of hypothyroid heart disease, and treatments include conventional treatment, treatment of cardiovascular lesions, and so on. 1. Conventional treatment: use levothyroxine sodium tablets as replacement therapy to maintain thyroid hormones within a reasonable range. 2. Treatment of cardiovascular lesions: in the case of hypothyroidism with angina pectoris, nitroglycerin and its long-acting preparation can be used; in the case of heart failure, digitalis can be used, such as digoxin, but it is recommended that a small amount of caution be used; and in the case of pericardial effusion which cannot be relieved by thyroxine replacement therapy, puncture and fluid extraction can be considered.
