Needle eyes can heal in a few days

The course of the disease is usually 5-7 days, but if untreated or mistreated, some of these eyes can become subacute or turn into chalazia, which can extend to months or even years. Chalazion is a common inflammatory disease in ophthalmology, and if treated promptly with hot compresses and medications, it can usually return to normal in 1-2 weeks. However, if the infected bacteria are more virulent, resulting in the formation of local abscesses, the course of the disease will be extended accordingly. Patients are advised to go to the hospital ophthalmology department for treatment in the early stage of the disease, including the use of antibiotic eye drops and eye ointment, wet and hot compresses, early acupuncture point bloodletting, etc., in order not to delay the course of the disease. During the treatment period, patients should eat a light diet and avoid spicy foods or hairy items such as mutton.
