Can cystic foci in the left adnexal region cause low back pain?

Whether cystic foci in the left adnexal area will cause back pain depends on the size of the cyst, a larger size may cause back pain symptoms, if it is smaller, it usually does not cause back pain symptoms. Cystic foci in the left adnexal area indicate that there are cysts in the left adnexal area, which may be physiologic corpus luteum cysts, or ovarian chocolate cysts and so on. If the left ovarian cyst is large, for example, above 5 cm, it may cause pressure on the surrounding tissues, for example, to the lumbosacral area, which may lead to the patient’s symptoms of back pain. Most of these large ovarian cysts are pathologic ovarian cysts and are usually treated with surgery. If the left ovarian cyst is relatively small, it basically will not cause pressure on the surrounding tissues, and of course, the symptoms of back pain will not occur. For this kind of small ovarian cysts, usually do not need special treatment, but should be regularly rechecked.
