Down’s syndrome and cerebral palsy are both more serious diseases. Down’s syndrome is a chromosomal genetic defective disorder, caused by the lack of chromosome 21, accompanied by a peculiar face, backward growth, and backward physical development, which is a congenital hereditary disease, and there is usually no special treatment. Cerebral palsy, also known as pediatric cerebral palsy, is mainly characterized by postural as well as motor dysfunction, which is caused by non-progressive brain injuries of various reasons in babies from before birth to within one month after birth. The prognosis for babies with cerebral palsy is good and has little impact on their lives after regular early intervention, but the prognosis for babies with Down syndrome and severe cerebral palsy is poorer.
