Swelling in the patient’s left eye may be related to blepharitis, acute conjunctivitis, insect bite dermatitis and other causes.
1. Blepharitis: the sebaceous glands or blepharoplastic glands at the base of the eyelashes on the edge of the left eyelid of patients with blepharitis are infected by pathogens such as bacteria, and under the stimulation of inflammation, patients may experience redness, swelling, pain and other uncomfortable symptoms in the left eyelid.
