Gui Fu Di Huang Wan consists of Cinnamon, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, Mudan Pi, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Poria, Zedoaria, with the effect of warming and replenishing the kidney yang, used for the treatment of renal yang insufficiency, lumbar and knee impotence and coldness, urinary incontinence (urine not smooth) or counteracting more, phlegm (the pathologic product of the impaired metabolism of water), asthma and coughing. The adverse effects of the drug are not clear, and it is contraindicated in pregnant women.
