What Varicose Veins Feel Like

Varicose veins, especially varicose veins in the lower extremities, do not have any special sensation in the early stage, and often patients only show tortuous expansion of the superficial veins in the lower extremities without any discomfort or swelling sensation. As the varicose veins in the lower extremities become more serious, the patients tend to have soreness and swelling in the legs and the protruding blood vessels become more obvious, and sometimes the complications of phlebitis or venous thrombosis tend to cause swelling and localized body surface redness, swelling and heat pain. When varicose veins of lower extremities develop to stage three or four, there may be skin dystrophy and pigmentation, and even serious complications such as rupture, bleeding, ulcers, etc. Sometimes it is also easy to form eczema on the skin surface of lower extremities to appear itching, the main feeling of varicose veins of lower extremities.
