Amino acids can be infused for a maximum of 14 days, depending on the specific type of disease. Usually, amino acids are only used to supplement the nutrients of the human body, and can be applied for 3 days by intravenous injection of amino acids when you cannot eat orally or when you have acute gastroenteritis, nausea or vomiting, and need temporary supplementation or when you cannot temporarily consume food or drinking water. In severe kidney disease or renal insufficiency, when amino acids cannot be absorbed by oral route, or when there is severe gastrointestinal digestive insufficiency, amino acids need to be injected for a long time, usually for about 7-10 days. In cases of severe tumors, hematologic disorders, or the presence of a depressed immune system, where the patient cannot supplement essential amino acids by oral means, amino acids can be administered for 14 consecutive days, after which the continuation of the infusion can be considered according to changes in the condition.
