Efficacy and effects of dried tangerine peel

Dried tangerine peel generally refers to the traditional Chinese medicine Chen Pi, which has the effects of resolving phlegm and drying dampness, regulating qi and strengthening the spleen, and can be used to treat phlegm-dampness cough, stagnant qi and abdominal distension.
Chenpi refers to the dried fruit peel of tangerine in the family of Rutaceae after ripening, with pungent and bitter flavor, warm nature; it belongs to the spleen and lung meridian. It can be used to treat stagnant qi in the spleen and stomach, vomiting, eructation (hiccups), damp phlegm, cold phlegm cough, and chest paralysis (chest tightness and pain).
Chenpi is usually decocted and taken with caution in cases of qi deficiency, dry cough with yin deficiency, vomiting of blood, red tongue with little fluid, and solid heat inside.
Although Chen Pi can be used to treat a variety of diseases, it must be used on the basis of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis.
