What causes electrophthalmic uveitis

Electrophthalmia mainly refers to the human cornea receiving ultraviolet radiation, causing thinning and punctate detachment of the cornea, which causes eye pain, tearing and photophobia. It is common in welders, or in the snowy plateau without protective glasses, thus causing this electrophthalmia. The main manifestation of electrophthalmia is eye pain, tearing and photophobia. The treatment for early electrophthalmia is pain relief, which can be done with cold compresses, eye drops, such as eye drops to promote recovery, and artificial tears. Mild electrophthalmia can recover on its own in 1-2 days, but if it is moderate and the inflammation of the corneal epithelium is heavy, the recovery time may take longer, in about a week.
