The prostate gland is actually an alias for the prostate gland, usually in Hong Kong, Australia and Taiwan, so an enlarged prostate gland is also known as an enlarged prostate, also called prostatic hyperplasia. There are two necessary conditions for prostate enlargement, first, the need for functioning testes, i.e., the need for androgenic support. The second is that men of advanced age, i.e., after 50 years of age, are likely to cause prostate enlargement, and prostate enlargement may cause men to have difficulty urinating, and in severe cases will cause urinary retention, sometimes requiring surgical treatment, and relatively mild prostate enlargement can take conservative treatment methods such as taking medication.
