(2) Invasion of heat and toxins: Qingying Tang can be taken internally to remove heat and toxins and cool the Blood. This drug is mainly composed of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Rhizoma Bamboo Leaves and Radix et Rhizoma Ophiopogonis, etc. It can treat symptoms such as restlessness of the mind with little sleep, vague maculopapular rashes (slight maculopapular rashes on the skin), and heat in the body. The adverse effects and contraindications of this medicine are not clear; it is recommended to take a light diet during the use of this medicine.
2. Acupuncture and moxibustion: Acupuncture and moxibustion can be performed at the A Shi point (the point where acidity, numbness, distension and pain are obvious), Quchi, Daxi, Blood Sea, and Yinlingquan.
Acupuncture may cause stomach pain, palpitations and other adverse reactions; people with infectious or contagious diseases should avoid acupuncture; pregnant women should be cautious of acupuncture.
