(1) Interstitial nephritis Interstitial nephritis accounts for the second place in the incidence of chronic renal failure. Renal tubular atrophy, fibrosis and scarring lead to reduced glomerular blood supply and reduced renal function. Nephropathy caused by analgesics, gouty nephropathy and nephropathy caused by antibiotics and other nephrotoxic drugs all belong to interstitial nephritis. (3) Lower urinary tract obstruction Poor drainage of the lower urinary tract, such as benign prostatic hypertrophy, or some kind of anatomical defect causing urinary reflux, causing dilatation of the renal pelvis and calyces, called hydronephrosis, which compresses normal renal tissue and causes renal failure. (4) Severe kidney damage caused by other rare common diseases, leading to chronic renal failure. Because the body has a strong compensatory capacity to properly regulate the disruption of biochemical processes in the body. Sometimes we can see patients with only 10% of normal kidney function remaining, still able to maintain life.
