3. Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae has the effects of regulating qi and strengthening the spleen, drying dampness and resolving phlegm (expelling dampness by drying dampness and resolving phlegm). It is used for distention and fullness in the epigastrium (stomach and abdomen), poor appetite, vomiting and diarrhea, coughing with profuse phlegm, and so on.
