Eczema is called wet sores in Chinese medicine, the common cause is due to dietary disorders, endowment intolerance, etc. According to clinical diagnosis, it can be categorized into dampness-heat immersion type, spleen deficiency and dampness, blood deficiency and wind dryness type.
The common cause of wet sores on the chest is overeating spicy, meat and windy foods, or dietary disorders, or alcoholism, resulting in spleen dysfunction (dysfunction of the spleen’s transport function), causing dampness and heat within the birth of the spleen; it may also be the wind, dampness and heat in the skin, endowed with the intolerance of the endowment (the body is weak), ultimately resulting in dampness and heat congestion of the skin and the onset of the disease.
Wet sores can be categorized into three types according to the condition, namely, dampness-heat-impregnated type, spleen-deficiency-dampness-impregnated type, and blood-deficiency-wind-drying type.
1. Damp-heat-impregnated type: the manifestation of acute wet sores, the onset of acute, blistering oozing with itching, can be generalized all over the body, accompanied by heartburn, tongue red, body heat. The treatment should be clearing heat and removing dampness, and can be used in Dioscorea Dioscorea Soup.
2. Spleen deficiency and dampness type: the manifestation of subacute wet sores, with slow onset, itchy lesions with vesicles, and tiredness and fatigue. The treatment should strengthen the spleen and promote dampness to stop itching, and can be used to remove dampness and stomach ling soup.
3. Blood deficiency and wind dryness type: the manifestation of chronic eczema, recurrent eczema, injury to yin and blood depletion, thickening of the skin, itching, and hyperpigmentation of the skin lesions. The treatment should be to dispel wind and stop itching (by removing the wind that invades the surface of the muscle to stop itching), nourish the blood and moisturize the skin, available angelica drink, etc..
