Dialysis mainly includes hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. There is no such thing as the best of the two, they have similar efficacy, each has its own advantages and disadvantages, and they can complement each other clinically. It is necessary to choose according to the specific situation of the patient.
1. Hemodialysis: The principle of hemodialysis is that the blood is drawn out through the dialysis tubing and dialyzer, which filters out the toxins for the kidneys, and then the blood flows back into the body. Hemodialysis can be chosen for patients who have had diseases or surgeries resulting in abdominal adhesions, abdominal tumors, restrictive pulmonary ventilation dysfunction and other diseases.
2. Peritoneal dialysis: the peritoneal dialysis fluid is introduced into the abdominal cavity through the peritoneal cannula, and the substance is exchanged through the capillaries of the greater omentum, and then the ultrafiltration fluid is induced through the pipeline, so that part of metabolites are discharged out of the body through the exchange. Priority may be given to types of patients with unstable cardiovascular status, obvious bleeding or bleeding tendency, repeated arteriovenous fistula failure, and relatively good residual renal function.
If patients need dialysis treatment, it is recommended to go to regular hospitals in time and choose the appropriate treatment plan under the guidance of doctors.
