According to the World Health Organization in 2015, China has become the country with the highest number of new kidney cancer cases in the world each year. The most important question for many kidney cancer patients and their families is how long can they live with kidney cancer? Early and mid-stage kidney cancer is mainly treated by surgery, and surgery plays a decisive role. In late stage, systemic treatment (including targeted therapy, biological therapy, immunotherapy, etc.) is the main treatment, and local treatment is supplementary. The 5-year cure rates of stage I, II and III kidney cancer in our center are 95.0%, 87.8% and 71.4% respectively. stage IV kidney cancer is advanced kidney cancer, and the probability of living beyond 5 years is 28.2%.
