How long can I live if I have kidney cancer?

The most important question for many kidney cancer patients and their families is how long can they live with kidney cancer? Early and mid-stage kidney cancer is mainly treated by surgery, and surgery plays a decisive role. In late stage, systemic treatment (including targeted therapy, biological therapy, immunotherapy, etc.) is the main treatment, and local treatment is supplementary. The 5-year cure rates of stage I, II and III kidney cancer in our center are 95.0%, 87.8% and 71.4% respectively. stage IV kidney cancer is advanced kidney cancer, and the probability of living beyond 5 years is 28.2%.
