What is the cause of heart failure

If a patient feels weak, the first step is to go to the hospital for a comprehensive physical examination, which includes electrocardiogram, cardiac ultrasound, 24-hour ambulatory electrocardiogram, coronary CT or coronary angiography, and also nuclear myocardial imaging. These tests are performed to see if there is organic disease causing the heart weakness. If an organic disease is diagnosed, such as coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy, or myocarditis, then the primary cause needs to be treated aggressively. If no organic disease is detected, it may be caused by irregular diet and living, staying up late at night, mental tension and stress, and it is recommended to adjust one’s state and do regular review.
