Bilateral dorsal pleural thickening is a finding in imaging that refers to hyperplasia and thickening of the pleura on both sides, which is abnormal. It may be related to pleural effusion, pleurisy or tuberculosis and other diseases, resulting in pleural fibrosis. It is recommended that the patient improve the relevant examination in time to clarify the cause of the disease. Bilateral dorsal pleural thickening is usually an imaging result during x-ray examination or chest ct examination. Representing both sides of the pleura, because of tuberculosis, pleural effusion or pleurisy and other diseases, causing fibrin deposition and granulation tissue proliferation, leading to pleural fibrosis appearing pleural thickening phenomenon. Patients may be accompanied by symptoms such as dyspnea, chest pain, cough and chest tightness.
