Most cases of irregular stools are caused by gastrointestinal disorders such as gastroenteritis or dyspepsia, and most of these disorders can gradually improve with symptomatic treatment such as fluid replacement and rest.
There are also some chronic irregular stools caused by benign and malignant tumours of the intestinal tract, systemic diseases such as hyperthyroidism and systemic lupus erythematosus, which can be further treated after consultation with the internal medicine department to clarify the cause.
