How to get rabies vaccination

Rabies vaccine can be given in three ways: 1. Pre-exposure prophylaxis, which is called pre-exposure prophylaxis when there is no animal bite or scratch, but there is a risk of close contact with the animal in the future and the possibility of being infected with rabies. It is called pre-exposure prophylaxis when only three injections are given, one each on days zero, seventh and twenty-first; 2. The five injection method of post-exposure prophylaxis, the five injection method requires five injections each, one each on days 0, 3, 7, 14 and 28, and the five injection method is the more classic injection method; 3. Some vaccines can also be given in the third injection method, which is the post-exposure 2-1-1 injection procedure. This only requires four injections and only three injections, and can also achieve similar results as the five-needle method. However, it should only be used for rabies vaccines that are labeled in the instructions as being able to be administered in this way. The first two injections are given, one in each of the right and left upper arm deltoid muscles, followed by one on the seventh and one on the twenty-first day.
