Composition and dosage of Suzi Descending Qi Tang

Su Zi Di Qi Tang is mainly composed of Perilla frutescens, Semen Cassia and other herbs, which can be used in combination to lower Qi and calm asthma (lowering rebellious Qi to calm coughing), dispel phlegm and relieve cough (removing phlegm to stop coughing). In the clinical treatment of upper solid and lower deficiency (the upper lung is full, the lower kidney is empty) cough and asthma, symptoms such as chest and diaphragm fullness, wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath, more breathing and less breathing, limb fatigue or swelling and other uncomfortable symptoms.
As the nature of the medicine is warm and dry, mainly to lower the qi and dispel phlegm, it is not suitable for coughing of lung and kidney yin deficiency (deficiency of yin qi in the lung and kidney organs), as well as lung-heat and phlegm asthma.
