Whether cerebral palsy can be treated or not can mainly depend on the degree, location and duration of the disease. If the condition is mild, with active treatment, some patients can approach the functional status of a normal person.
Children with cerebral palsy need to be evaluated by clinical symptoms, cranial MRI and other tests. If the intracranial injury is severe, and the MRI reveals that there are already soft foci formed, scarring and hemorrhage in the skull, most of them cannot be repaired to a normal level, and the related functional impairment can only be improved through follow-up treatment and rehabilitation training.
However, if the condition of cerebral palsy is mild, through timely treatment and rehabilitation training, some patients can regain basic self-care ability and approach the level of normal people.
Although cerebral palsy treatment is long and difficult, there are more treatment methods. Individualized treatment plan is needed for different symptoms, and it is recommended to go to the hospital as early as possible to receive professional assessment and individualized treatment. Meanwhile, the confidence and patience of family members are important to the recovery of patients.
