“Cerebro-Cardio-Tongue” means Cerebro-Cardio-Tongue capsule. Combined use of Qui Shen Wan and Cerebro-Cardio-Tongue capsule can benefit qi and nourish blood (replenish the body’s qi and blood), and invigorate the blood to remove blood stasis (promote the blood’s operation and eliminate blood stasis in the body). Huisheng Wan can benefit qi and strengthen the spleen (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach), nourish blood and tranquilize the mind (stabilizing the mind and soothing the emotions by nourishing the blood), and can be used clinically for treating deficiency of the heart and spleen (weakness of the heart and spleen), shortness of qi and palpitations (accelerated heartbeat often accompanied by heartburn), insomnia and excessive dreaming, and dizziness and light-headedness. The contraindications of Gui Shen Wan, which may cause gastrointestinal discomfort and skin rashes when taken, are not yet clear. Cerebro-Cardio-Tongue, on the other hand, can play a role in benefiting qi and activating blood (tonifying qi and blood, so that the body is full of qi and blood, and blood veins are smooth), resolving blood stasis and clearing collaterals, and can be clinically used for the treatment of paraplegia (inability of one side of the limbs to move at will), numbness of the limbs, crookedness of the eyes and mouth, chest paralysis (stuffy pain in the chest), cardiac pain and chest tightness, and other conditions caused by qi deficiency and blood stagnation, and stasis of collaterals and blood veins. The adverse reactions of Cerebro-Cardiac Capsules are not clear, but pregnant women are prohibited. The combination of the two can benefit qi and nourish blood, activate blood circulation and remove blood stasis, suitable for patients with deficiency of the heart and spleen and qi deficiency and blood stasis. Patients must go to the hospital when they are unwell, under the guidance of the doctor’s combined medication treatment, do not self-medication, so as not to delay the condition.
