The whole procedure of clavicle fracture surgery includes anesthesia, disinfecting and spreading the towel in the operation area, incision and repositioning, plate fixation, flushing the wound and suturing the incision.
1. Anesthesia: General anesthesia is chosen in most cases for clavicle fracture surgery.
2. Sterilization of the operation area and laying of towel: after successful anesthesia, the affected shoulder is appropriately padded, followed by preoperative sterilization and laying of sterile towel.
3. Incision and repositioning: according to the preoperative examination and localization, make an incision at the broken end of the fracture, and then use the repositioning forceps to reposition the clavicle and fix it temporarily.
4. Plate fixation: according to the fracture condition, choose the appropriate internal fixation titanium plate for internal fixation of the fracture, and check the firmness of fixation.
5. Flushing the wound and closing the incision: after checking that the internal fixation is correct, the wound is flushed with saline, and then the surgical incision is closed layer by layer.
