Treatment for cerebrovascular disease is type dependent and common treatments include medication, interventional therapy and surgery. Commonly used medications include anti-platelet aggregation drugs, anticoagulants, and drugs to control risk factors. Interventional and surgical methods include cerebrovascular stenting, aneurysm embolisation, cerebral haematoma removal, ventricular haemorrhage puncture and drainage, and carotid endarterectomy.
