Sarcomatoid carcinoma usually refers to sarcoma, which exists in the early stages but is commonly staged clinically by TNM.
Malignant tumors originating from mesenchymal tissues (including connective tissues and muscles) are called “sarcomas”, while carcinomas are usually malignant tumors originating from epithelial tissues.
In the early stage of sarcoma cancer, anemia, low fever, emaciation and fatigue may be manifested; in the late stage, malignant manifestations of systemic exhaustion may occur, such as extreme emaciation, skin and bones, weakness, and extreme pain may be manifested.
TNM staging method is the widely used staging method at present. t is the primary tumor, n is lymph node, and m is distant metastasis. With these three items to determine its staging, different combinations of TNM correspond to different stages (including stages I, II, III and IV.) Stage I is usually early stage, II and III are usually intermediate stage, and stage IV is usually advanced stage.
If there is any abnormality, suspicion or confirmed diagnosis of sarcoma, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital for comprehensive assessment of the condition, integrating a variety of means to diagnose and evaluate the disease, and follow the doctor’s instructions to cooperate with the treatment, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
