Why does it hurt to urinate?

The main clinical causes of painful urination are urinary tract infections, urinary stones, urinary tract tumors, genitourinary tract tuberculosis, prostatitis, acute orchitis, and epididymitis, which can be initially determined by the different phases of urination. If the pain is present at the beginning of urination, it is possible that the condition is acute urethritis. If pain occurs at the end of urination, it may be acute cystitis. If an older male patient has painful urination and has symptoms such as incomplete urination and frequent urination in normal life, it may be prostate enlargement combined with urinary tract infection. It is recommended that patients undergo a preliminary screening of the urinary tract ultrasound, urinary routine, to rule out specific causes, while maintaining sufficient water intake, timely urination, do not eat a spicy and stimulating diet, to avoid aggravating the condition, through the specific test results for reasonable treatment.
