Is nasopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma serious?

Nasopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma belongs to malignant tumors, which is a more serious condition, and the specific severity is related to the clinical stage, the patient’s physical quality and other factors. Nasopharyngeal cancer is a malignant tumor of epithelial origin that occurs in the nasopharynx, and squamous cell carcinoma is its common type. According to statistics, the 5-year survival rate of stage I patients is about 95%, that of stage II patients is about 85%, that of stage III patients is about 68%, and that of stage IV patients is about 50%.
