What if antibodies do not appear after vaccination?

For this group of people who do not develop surface antibodies to hepatitis B virus after hepatitis B vaccination and do not play a preventive role, the following measures can be taken: 1. Use sensitive methods to re-test: protective antibodies may have been produced in the body but are undetectable.

2.Increase the dose of hepatitis B vaccine.

3.Some people who have been infected with hepatitis B virus have a small amount of hepatitis B virus surface antigen (HBsAg), which cannot be detected by existing detection methods; or the hepatitis B virus has mutated and does not react with ordinary reagents.

4.People with family history of hepatitis B or frequent contact with hepatitis B patients should pay special attention to the effect of hepatitis B vaccination.
