Pregnant women with gestational diabetes need to be screened for glucose tolerance 42 days after delivery. If any of the three tests exceeds the normal range, the test results are abnormal, and chronic diabetes is no longer considered. The diagnosis of gestational diabetes is no longer made. Most of the gestational diabetes is caused by improper dietary control, so most of the patients with gestational diabetes can control their blood sugar as long as they control their diet reasonably, eat less sweets and be active after delivery.
