What’s wrong with half white and half red eyes?

If the eye is half white and half red, and if there are no uncomfortable symptoms, the initial diagnosis is that it is caused by bleeding in the eye. On the surface of the white eye is a transparent film called the bulbar conjunctiva. The capillaries of the bulbar conjunctiva are very rich and can be ruptured by inflammation, trauma or other diseases, causing blood to spill out from the blood vessels and spread around, forming punctate, patchy or massive subconjunctival hemorrhage. Subconjunctival hemorrhage can be caused by systemic or local factors, and can be caused by patients with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, and constipation. It can also occur in patients with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, constipation, overuse of the eyes, staying up late, rubbing the eyes with the hands, trauma, and in the category of patients with thrombocytopenia, or reduced clotting time. Subconjunctival hemorrhage does not require special treatment, as it can be treated with vitamin C-rich fruits and vegetables and cold compresses after 48 hours. In cases of recurrent bleeding or heavy bleeding, oral vitamin C tablets and Yunnan Baiyao capsules may be prescribed. Check platelets and clotting time if necessary, and if there are any abnormalities, consult the hematology department for coordinated treatment.
