Fractures of the transverse processes of the lumbar vertebrae generally do not compress the nerve line. 1. Lumbar transverse process is located on both sides of the lumbar vertebrae, when traumatized and prone to fracture, minor patients generally have no displacement, conservative treatment, bed rest, avoid strenuous exercise, oral blood and bone drugs such as musk bone capsule to promote fracture healing. 2. If the fracture is displaced, there is obvious lumbar pain, obvious pain after activity, turning over difficult, but it will not compress the nerve, there will be no nerve compression symptoms. 3. If the transverse lumbar vertebral fracture is combined with a displaced lumbar vertebral body fracture, it may compress the nerve line and cause symptoms of leg pain and numbness. Therefore, lumbar transverse process fracture generally does not compress the nerve line. It is usually treated conservatively with 2-3 months of recuperation.
