In the case of subcutaneous nodules caused after trauma, cold compresses should be used in the early stage because they can reduce the exudation of tissue fluid and reduce the further expansion of edema; in the later stage, hot compresses are needed to accelerate local blood circulation and promote the elimination of nodules. In the case of subcutaneous lipoma or sebaceous cyst nodules, small nodules can be followed up, and surgery is required if they are to be eliminated. For large nodules, the only way to eliminate them is by surgery. Local anesthesia can be performed, with lidocaine on the body surface, and then the nodules are completely removed and sent for pathological examination. For solid nodules, if the nature of the nodule is not clear, the nodule can be completely excised and sent to pathology for examination.
