1.Lacrimal intubation can make the child’s tear duct develop and grow normally; 2.For children with failed tear duct probing (one or more probing), intubation can avoid tearing of the tear duct caused by repeated probing and the “false duct” caused by narrowing of the tear duct; 3.For children who are not suitable for multiple trips to the hospital, intubation can reduce the time and cost of treatment; 4.For some children with congenital tear duct malformation and narrowing, lacrimal intubation is the preferred treatment method.
