How to use Simeglutide

Simeglutide can be used by subcutaneous injection through a prefilled injection pen, once a week, and should be used after training by a doctor or nurse. Semaglutide Injection can be used to lower blood glucose by stimulating insulin secretion and decreasing glucagon secretion, and can be used for blood glucose control in patients with type 2 diabetes. Simeglutide Injection is administered subcutaneously through a specialized prefilled injection pen. Before use, read the instructions carefully and receive training in its use from your healthcare provider. Before use, check the medication in the pen, install a new injection needle, exhaust the air, and select the appropriate dose of medication as prescribed by the doctor. The site for subcutaneous injection of simethicone can be selected from the abdomen, thigh or upper arm. When injecting, the drug delivery button of the injection pen should be pressed continuously until the dose display returns to the “0” position, and then, instead of pulling out the needle immediately, it should be retained in the subcutaneous area for 6 seconds to make sure that all the drug is injected, and then the needle should be pulled out again. Dispose of the needle and injection pen properly after use. Simethicone should be injected once a week, with a starting dose of 0.25 mg once a week, which can be gradually increased to 1 mg once a week, and the dose should be adjusted under the supervision of a doctor in specific cases. Semaglutide should not be used in persons with a history of hypersensitivity to this drug, nor should it be used in persons with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, or in patients with type 2 multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome. It can cause adverse reactions such as nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, hypoglycemia, etc. It should be used under the supervision of a doctor and in case of any discomfort, seek medical attention.
