What’s with the hot throat and burning sensation?

Hot throat with burning sensation may be caused by acute pharyngitis, acute laryngitis, reflux pharyngitis and so on.
1. Acute pharyngitis: often caused by viral and bacterial infections and stimulation of adverse physical and chemical factors, resulting in pharyngeal dryness, burning, roughness, coughing, followed by pharyngeal pain, most of which is burning pain, and pharyngeal pain is more severe when empty throat.
2. Chronic pharyngitis: mainly caused by repeated episodes of acute pharyngitis, often with pharyngeal discomfort, foreign body sensation, itching, burning, dryness or irritation, but also micro-pain. It is mainly due to the stimulation of its secretion and hypertrophied lymphoid follicles.
3. Reflux pharyngolaryngitis: this disease may be caused by poor dietary habits, mental stress, barrier structure dysfunction and other factors. Gastric contents reflux into the pharyngeal cavity, corrosive stimulation of the pharyngeal mucosa so that the patient has a hot throat, burning sensation, and there will be a foreign body sensation in the throat, hoarseness, cough and other symptoms.
