Patients with radicular cervical spondylosis often experience severe radiating pain, numbness, weakness and other symptoms when the lesion is severe. The specific symptoms are as follows:
1. Radioactive pain: If the lesions of this type of patients are particularly serious, they will often experience severe radiating pain in the cervical spine, back of the shoulder, and one side of the upper limb. Sometimes the degree of pain is particularly severe, which makes the patient feel cut, pins and needles, burning pain.
2. Numbness: This kind of patients often have very serious numbness in one side of the upper limbs. For example, patients often appear in the hands or forearms and other places in a large area of skin numbness, and seriously interfere with their normal work or sleep.
3. Weakness: Patients may experience a significant decrease in muscle strength in the back of the shoulder and upper limbs on one side. This will lead to a significant impact on the patient’s daily work and life. If the patient’s lesion is longer, it will also lead to atrophy of the muscles in the relevant area.
It is recommended that these patients go to an orthopedic clinic in a timely manner in order to prevent the serious symptoms mentioned above.
