Small intrahepatic nodules are most commonly benign diseases, and if the patient has no clinical manifestations, he/she can be followed up regularly and observed temporarily. If the nodule gradually increases in size or compresses the neighboring biliary system and manifests as pain or even secondary jaundice, radiofrequency ablation or surgery can be considered to remove the lesion. Multiple benign lesions can also be treated with partial hepatectomy, but care should be taken to preserve more than 1/3 of the normal liver tissue. In addition, for the very few malignant lesions of the liver, they are mainly due to metastasis of malignant tumors of the intestines. In this case, while actively treating primary malignant lesions of the intestine, liver lesions can be treated with systemic intravenous chemotherapy, which can also control the growth rate of the nodules to a certain extent.
