Symptoms of lung cystadenoma after birth

The clinical manifestations of pulmonary cystadenoma are not identical according to the type of the disease, and are generally divided into three types: Type I patients often experience respiratory distress on the 1st-4th day of life, with either mild or severe symptoms, depending on the size and location of the cystadenoma. Type II is often accompanied by other developmental abnormalities in addition to cystic and adenomatous malformations of the lungs. Type III can develop respiratory distress a few hours after birth, and in some children it is accompanied by generalized edema, and congenital cystic adenomatous malformations of the lungs are often accompanied by bronchial atresia or obstruction, and so they can lead to respiratory distress syndrome. Even in some children, the disease may occur late, and some can grow, but then have recurrent lung infections, which very much affect the quality of life.
