The higher the number of rows, the better the performance of the machine, the clearer the image display, and the ability to display more subtle lesions. However, at present, a simple 16-row machine is sufficient for plain-scan examinations, and can meet the diagnostic requirements and can see the lesion clearly. If a plain CT examination is suspected to be problematic, an enhanced CT can be done to give a tendency opinion of the lesion.
