Lung nodules 6mm are usually not large. Lung nodules are categorized by size; nodules smaller than 5mm are microscopic nodules, lung nodules between 5 and 10mm are small lung nodules, and lung nodules larger than 10mm are large lung nodules. For small nodules of 6mm, there is no need for special attention when there are no special circumstances. However, care should be taken to have regular chest CT review. Most are benign nodules. Even if very few 6mm lung nodules are caused by malignant tumors, most of them belong to early lung cancer and can be clinically cured after surgical resection. In addition, due to the small size of 6mm lung nodules, the nature of the nodule cannot be determined, and regular follow-up is needed to determine the treatment method based on the dynamic change of the nodule and the definition of the nature of the nodule.
