This point is on the medial side of the foot, at the projection of the medial ankle. This point has the function of a channeling switch, and is distributed with the saphenous nerve of the femoral nerve and the anterior tibial artery, the anterior internal ankle artery, and the posterior tibial artery, with the cruciate ligament of the lower leg; between the anterior tibial tendon and the long toe flexor; beneath it is the thumb flexor. This point can treat toothache, pediatric dysphonia, and tonsillitis. It can treat toothache with buccal car point and hegu point; with nei guan point, san yin jiao point and zhao hai point, it can treat foot cramps, and moxibustion of the inner ankle tip point can treat foot odor.
