Ointment for acne



Creams for acne treatment generally include retinoic acid cream, benzoyl peroxide, antibiotic cream, azelaic acid and so on.

1. Vitamin A acid cream: such as isotretinoin cream, 0.03% vitamin A acid cream, etc. Generally, the initial use may appear erythema, flaking, burning sensation and other local irritation, should pay attention to a small range of light avoidance use.

2. Benzoyl peroxide: the drug has the function of killing Propionibacterium acnes, dissolving keratin, etc., but a few people may have irritation reactions, and can be used in a low concentration and a small range to begin with.

3. Antibiotic creams: such as fusidic acid cream, erythromycin ointment, lincomycin ointment, etc., which can be used to kill bacteria and reduce infection.

4. Azelaic acid: it can treat inflammation and acne and reduce hyperpigmentation, but may cause local tingling, erythema and other adverse reactions.

Low concentration salicylic acid cream or gel and sulfur lotion can also be applied to inhibit Propionibacterium acnes, antibacterial and so on.
