Normally the risk of stomach bleeding after taking double antibiotics after cardiac stent placement is not very high and the incidence is low. It is usually treated with a combination of aspirin and P2Y12 inhibitors. Dual-antibody therapy is usually required for 12 months after cardiac stent surgery. Aspirin and P2Y12 inhibitors are both antiplatelet drugs, which can lower platelet values and reduce the risk of thrombosis when taken orally in small doses, and are mainly used for the prevention of in-stent thrombosis when taken orally after stent surgery. Contraindications to aspirin are bleeding disorders, aspirin allergy, aspirin asthma, etc. Adverse reactions are possible asthma, peptic ulcer induced. Common contraindications to clopidogrel are: active bleeding, severe liver disease, and clopidogrel allergy. Adverse reactions are: drug rash, gastrointestinal bleeding, and granulocytopenia. Patients on dual-antibiotic therapy need to seek immediate medical attention if they experience adverse reactions and adjust their medication as prescribed.
